I grew up in the suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. My family home was close to a big forest, and I spent most of my time in the outdoors. Growing up in a family of creative makers, my childhood and early education celebrated creativity and the ability to create. This focus cemented and nurtured a great appreciation for art, craft and nature in my life.

I have been living in the United Kingdom since 2010. After completing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History of Art and Linguistics, from Kingston University (London), I moved to rural Devon, South West England, to take a fine furniture making course at the acclaimed Rowden Atelier, Shebbear. Since then, I have been designing and crafting bespoke pieces of furniture, first from a studio in Bideford, North Devon, now from my new studio in Acton, London.
